Editorial Policy
Spotlyra publishes entertainment news, previews, commentary and sports reports. The guidance below explains how reporting, opinion and corrections should be presented to readers.
Accuracy & Fact-Checking
Factual reporting should identify its source. Official studio, platform and league announcements take precedence for release plans and match results; original interviews and reporting should be linked and attributed. Rumors, estimates and forecasts must not be presented as confirmed outcomes.
Reviews and Previews
A preview discusses announcements and expectations. It is not a first-hand review of a completed work. Reviews should explain the basis for an assessment, distinguish opinion from facts and disclose relevant access or commercial relationships.
Corrections and Updates
To report an error, email spotlyra@gmail.com or use our contact form. Include the article URL, the passage concerned and a supporting source. Substantive corrections should explain what changed; publication dates remain the original publication dates.
Bylines and Historical Coverage
Article bylines link to the named author's published work. Archived match updates and release announcements should make their reporting period clear. An updated date indicates an editorial body-text change, not merely a metadata or formatting change.
Editorial Review
Contributors submit articles for editorial review and cannot publish directly. Editors and Administrators can return submissions for changes, approve them, and publish or schedule approved coverage. Source corrections, factual corrections and the distinction between a preview and a completed-work review are part of this workflow.
This describes the current process; it does not assert that every historical article was reviewed under the same process. Spotlyra is the publisher and website brand.
